I have a Nintendo Wii, and I would like to know how I can connect my Wii to the internet using my laptop. I have Alltel wireless but no router and no Nintendo USB Wifi connector of any type. Is there another alternative as to how I can connect my Nintendo Wii to the internet using my laptop?

Answer
The best thing to do is buy a Wireless Router or the Nintendo WiFi Adapter, but you can also use your laptop to share your internet to your Wii.

Just follow this guide:

Ok I know that every gaming system has
A different feature on it. And their little bell
And whistle to coin a pharase. So MY question
Is what's the difference between the nintendo
Wii and the wii U? Whats the difference? Niki

Answer
It's just going to be the next generation of console hardware from Nintendo. The difference between the Gamecube and the Wii, or the N64 and the Gamecube. Just because the Wii and the Wii U share a similar name, doesn't mean they're like little versions, the Wii U is a huge update physically from Nintendo.

The Wii U will have better hardware, meaning it's games will look better graphically, it will no doubt have backwards compatibility with Wii games as well. It supports 1080p (about time Nintendo). Sadly from what I read on wikipedia.com the graphics is based on Ati's R700 class of graphics cards, which released around 2008 =[ whatever.

It also has a different controller, which I believe still supports gyro motion, but basically looks like a flat table with two circle pads and a large screen in the center. I believe some people have hypothesized that this would "remove" the need for a HUD in games, allowing the screen of your game to be completely empty of score, health bars, and options, and instead transferring all of that info to the controllers screen. I'm sure the controller has many other functions as well, and it is a touch screen (from what I've heard).

The Wii U is not out yet, though I've heard sometimes around April 2012 is the release date, but release dates are always flimsy.

So that's basically it, it's the next console to be the successor to the Wii.
